Diane has been working as a Marriage Family Therapist since January 1990. She received her bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Westmont College and her master’s degree in Marriage, Family, Child Therapy from California State University at Dominguez Hills where she was invited to join “Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society” and “Who’s Who Among Students in America Universities and Colleges.” After working many years as a therapist in private practice Diane joined Break Thru Ministries because she feels called to work with those in the body of Christ who feel a deep sense of unworthiness and a lack of acceptance that holds them in emotional bondage.
Diane excels at helping clients explore the aspects of their being that prevent them from maintaining satisfying connections with themselves and significant people in their life. She uses various therapeutic modalities including, cognitive therapy, internal family systems therapy, eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), and sand tray therapy, among others. |
Diane’s emphasis on integrating sound scriptural principles and psychological understanding promotes deep levels of emotional and spiritual healing. Her clientele consists of individuals, couples, families, & adolescents who want to attain satisfying and healthy relationships with themselves, God and others. She specializes in treatment of depression, anxiety, spiritual concerns, women’s issues, inner child work, self-destructive behavior, addictions, communication skills, childhood trauma (emotional, sexual, & physical), identity struggles, codependency, life stress, domestic violence, & crisis intervention. |
