Dyan is the co-founder and director of Break Thru Ministries. She has over twenty years experience in the areas of marriage, family and child therapy, and pastoral counseling. Dyan holds a Master of Art in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy from Trinity College of Graduate Studies and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of Behavioral Sciences of California. Dyan also has a Masters of Divinity degree from Azusa Pacific University. Dyan is noted for maintaining the integrity and inerrancy of the Word of God in her work and uses the most advanced techniques in helping the individual, couple or family in understanding themselves, God, other relationships, and the world around them.

Areas of specialty include: Marital counseling, domestic violence, communication skills, dependency and co-dependency issues, family issues, adolescents, parenting skills, relational issues, victims of emotional, physical and sexual abuse, work related issues, stress, depression and anxiety, women’s issues including menopausal transitions, identity issues, crisis intervention and spiritual concerns. Dyan is dedicated to restoring marriages and along with her husband Nick, offers to churches a 6-week free couples workshop entitled, “Enhancing Your Marriage.”

Bob Dylan once wrote a song entitled, “Everything is Broken”. The Lord as the redeemer of those things broken has used Break Thru Ministries to heal His people. Therefore, the heart of Dyan’s ministry has always focused on helping the people of His Church.  She has worked closely with a variety of pastors over the past twenty years to bring understanding and healing to the body of Christ through consultations, counseling, speaking, retreats and workshops. The scripture the Lord gave to her upon which Break Thru Ministries was founded was Isaiah 61…paraphrased to mean providing a place where one who is broken in heart can come to receive comfort and hope in the process of rebuilding their lives.
